My 233mhz Rev A iMac played all my PS1 games without a hitch on Virtual Game Station. It's not a hardware thing at all, though, it's a software thing. Emulators are also legal, so no need to get antsy talking about them. The PS2's a lot faster, but it's still, what, 4 years old? A dual 2 GHz G5 with a radeon 9800 could probably do it, provided the emulator used multiple threads. There are quite a few PSX emulators for PC, and a G5 or a recent PC can handle most of them well. How can you be thinking about PS2 emulators when there is only one PS1 emulator that even somewhat works.
